Hotel Information
Conference attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.
Hotel Reservations for the Chateau On The Lake Resort & Convention Center in Branson can be made by booking your room over the phone by calling (888) 333-5253. Be sure and request the Missouri Biotechnology Association room block and let the Chateau know you are with the MOBIO 2008 Summit on Life Sciences. The room block expires on August 26, 2008, and the negotiated conference rate of $129 for Deluxe Rooms, $159 for Chateau Kinds, and $189 for Ambassador Suites should be secured well in advance of the conference. The group rates will be honored two days prior and subsequent based upon availability.
Bring the family. The Chateau on the Lake Resort and the entire Lakes area surrounding Branson are a great family vacation spot, with much to do for the entire family. There is great shopping at the new Branson Landing as well as the outlet malls.
Why you should attend….. The purpose of the annual life sciences summit is to provide a working forum. Conversations will be stimulated, and the goal is to increase involvement of the life sciences community in order to actively involve the full spectrum of voices and interests and to harness that power for an even stronger life sciences movement. Participants need not be members of MOBIO to attend.

The Summit is recognized as the leading statewide biotechnology conference opportunity and will feature a comprehensive program that promises to attract bioscience executives, laboratory directors, university officials and researchers, technology transfer officers, intellectual property specialists, health care executives and economic development professionals.
