Traditionally Missouri has been underrepresented in
terms of the number of Small Business Innovation Research
(SBIR) grants and Small Business Technology Transfer
Research (STTR) grants learn more about SBIR/STTR program.
Missouri is consistently ranked among the lowest 12 states
both in submitted and awarded grants per capita.
In an effort to change this situation, the Missouri
Federal and State Technology program and the Missouri
Small Business Development Centers propose to help Missouri
by:
· Winning more SBIR and STTR awards by offering
assistance to small technology businesses and university
researchers in preparing SBIR/STTR proposals.
· Providing access to university researchers
and high-growth businesses to strengthen the applicant’s
SBIR or STTR proposal.
· Monitoring agencies for potential funding opportunities
and post agencies’ information on our website and
broadcast this information to our registered website
users.
