Alice Greife

Dr. Alice Greife started her career in public health as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service assigned to Centers for Disease Control. In 1980 she transferred to the Division of Surveillance, Hazard Evaluations, and Field Studies in Cincinnati. She was selected, in 1990, as Director of the Division of Standards Development and Technology Transfer and for the new division - the Education and Information Division. In 1996, Greife retired from the Public Health Service and joined the faculty at University of Central Missouri. She served as the department chair and later accepted the position of Dean of The College of Health, Science & Technology.
Dr. Alice Greife received her MS degree in Industrial Hygiene from University of Central Missouri and and her Ph.D in Occupational Toxicology from the University of Cincinnati.
